First Tournament with Select Team "Marauders"
Nate had his first tournament with the select team (7U team out of Loeb, Texas) he joined last week. They were looking for a 1st basemen which is what Nate play's. We played 4 games total at Ford Park in Beaumont (great complex, all artificial infields, 10 fields total). Nate played great at 1st, caught two pop flies in a row...one that was foul and near the dugout. Hit 7 for 9 with two doubles. We were very proud of the way he played.

Texas Pool
We are ready for summer ! The water is only 68 degrees though..Brrrr. I know because I took a dare to jump in, it is cold.

Nate's Coach Pitch Team..we are the Red Wings !
We had our first game Saturday, won 12-11. Nate went 2-2 with two singles and made two great plays at 1st base. Nate 1st from the left.

Grandma's First Hog Hunt
Grandma and I had a good time in search for her first Wild Boar, we got lucky and saw at least 40 hogs in total on this day.

Last Weekend Wrap-up
Some pictures of Nate from our last hoorah for our first Texas hunting season. We had a great weekend seeing many deer, wild hogs and as you can see below Nate got his first confirmed kill on an Armadillo.
